What do rugby boots and breastfeeding have in common?

Turns out, more than you'd think.

We’re incredibly proud to announce that The Mum Collective is now the official sponsor of the MaaMaas Rugby Team, the first mums-only rugby team in the UK.

Yes, you read that right. A team of mums, back on the pitch, smashing tackles and stereotypes in equal measure.

Why We’re Supporting the MaaMaas

At The Mum Collective, we’ve always believed in one thing:
Motherhood shouldn’t mean losing yourself.

The MaaMaas get that.

They’re creating a space for mums to reconnect with their love for the game, whether they played years ago, or have never set foot on a pitch before. It’s about movement. It’s about confidence. It’s about identity.

And it’s exactly what inspired us to design clothing that journeys with women through pregnancy, breastfeeding, postpartum, and beyond.

So when we heard what the MaaMaas were building, we knew we had to be part of it.

Not Just a Team, A Movement

The MaaMaas are more than just a rugby squad. They’re a community. They’re a statement. They’re proof that motherhood isn’t the end of your story, it’s just a new chapter.

With children on the sidelines and muddy boots on their feet, these women are rewriting the script on what it means to be a mum. And we’re here for it.

What This Sponsorship Means

As sponsors, we’ll be supporting the MaaMaas with:

  • Financial backing to help with kit

  • Exposure and amplification through our platform

  • Shared values of strength, support, and showing up as your full self

This isn’t a PR move. It’s a purpose move.

Because too often, the spotlight fades on women after motherhood. We’re here to turn that spotlight right back on.

Join the Movement

Whether you’re a new mum, a retired rugby player, or someone who just misses feeling part of a team, we invite you to follow the MaaMaas journey. Cheer them on. Share their story. And if you’re local…maybe even lace up your boots?

We believe in a world where mums are supported, celebrated, and seen. On the rugby pitch, at the school gates, everywhere.

To the MaaMaas, we’re honoured to stand beside you.
Here’s to strong women, muddy kits, and purpose-led partnerships.
